The Clavon site located at Clementi Avenue 1 was bought under the Government Land Sales (GLS) program had came to close with a winning top bid of $491.3 million by a joint partnership of UOL Venture Investment Private Ltd and UIC Homes Private Ltd. Both developers are excited to be awarded by the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) after a fierce bid with four other property developers for this residential site. The land parcel bid translating to $788.31 psf per with second highest from Vesta SG Residences,$471.01 million translating to $755.74 psf ppr. Other participating bidders were City Development Limited, CSC Land Group and MCC Land.

The residential project to be known as Clavon will be develop to a 40-storey residential condominium that comprises 640 units. The land parcel has a good size of 178,064 sq ft, allowing a maximum gross floor area of 623,229.8 square feet. The development is estimated to launch around $1,400 psf. The Clavon condo is expected to attract many first time buyers and HDB upgraders in the estate due to the close proximity to the nearby amenities and facilities prestigious schools are NUS High School, Nan Hua High and University of Singapore.
